Sam's passion in the field grew from a desire to disprove the paranormal. He was the youngest members of a small research group operating out of Auxier Kentucky when he decided that the techniques they were displaying did not really accomplish the goals he felt needed to be set. Sam started Dravenstar in 1996 as a freshman at South Floyd High School and from that point on he has never looked back. Sam is noted for his studies in poltergeist activity as well as his case studies. He is a firm team leader and loves to get right into the very heart of a case. Sam loves to read and write and is currently exploring several book options to write a book on DPRT's work and one on religion in today's society. He acts as lead investigator in the field as well as lead evaluator during evidence evaluations. Sam is found online as lorddraven2000 on many message boards and forums where he loves to share his findings and theories with the paranormal community. Sam's passion for the paranormal can be found in one of the many articles he has written for not only Dravenstar's site but several more across the Internet. (all in all over 1,000) He serves on the board of the Wheelwright Historic Society acting as vice chair and also the head librarian of the Wheelwright Community Library. When not investigating claims of the paranormal Sam can be found dividing time between his other passions. he is a volunteer firefighter on both Wheelwright and South East Fire Departments where he also serves as youth public educator. He is the bass player for the band Simple Harvest as well as for the Wheelwright Freewill Baptists Church. Sam devotes a great deal of his time to helping at the Wheelwright Baptist Center where he acts as youth leader and community outreach advocate. Sam also is the grant writer for the city of Wheelwright. | |||||||||||||||
