In Search Of.....The alien implantBy: Sam LittleSince the outbreak of alien sightings in the 50s the priority among researchers has been valid, conclusive evidence that would stand up to the many scruttinies of the scientific community. Evidence decided what classification an alien or UFO encounter falls under, either false or true, but great evidence can set the report apart from other cases significately. Some people accept repressed memories that are called back up as a result of hypnotic therapy as valid evidence while others are willing to call the physical injuries evidence of an alien abduction, but these things could have very simple natural causes. Bumps and bruises can easily be caused by a bump on the bed posts, or even a night stand. One could scratch their selves in their sleep without ever realizing they did so. These repressed memories could actually be implanted by the therapist him self through a process called leading the witness. I am not in any way saying that all repressed memories and scars of this nature are in fact natural, I am just stating that a natural explanation exist. The fact that so many possible conclusions can be drawn upon with this type of subjective evidence leads a lot of researchers to dismiss these claims and look for deeper more impressive proof of an alien encounter. The need to gather more precise evidence as made the UFO community a little more sensible and a lot more scientific. The days of buying into any account are long behind us in most cases and in reality with the hordes of accounts each year that may be the best route to take on the situation. Now there are physical injuries that are not so easy to explain away. One of these injuries is called a scallop. Scallops are areas of the skin that are sunk in, which appears to be a crater like abrasion of the skin but in truth is something much more frightening. Scallops are actually areas of the skin were a layer of the flesh has actually been removed leaving a dimple like appearance in the surface of the skin. These patches of missing skin often go un unnoticed as they usually appear on the back of the witness. Scallops defy common explanation and really create a mixed feeling among both the believer and the skeptic. Of all the physical injuries associated with UFO encounters scallops are by far one of the more extreme and most controversial. Of all the evidence for alien abduction no other piece has become more ominous than the implant. It has often been thought aliens use small devices placed under the skin to track human behavior and even catalog the humans they have chosen to visit. The implant may even be used to give direct orders to the person wearing it. This could even be something along the lines of where to meet the UFO ship and the such. Implants range in shape and size and location in the human body, although most are reported in the fingers or toes, nasal cavity, gums, forehead, or hand area. I myself have always been a bit skeptic along the lines of UFO abduction and the use of implants but during some reading recentally I came across a story that I felt was not only remarkable, but compelling and vital to the study of these supposed encounters with visitors from the distances of space. Dr. Roger Leir was an avid flyer who had a noted podiatric practice. He was stationed in Thousand Oaks. He had no idea that he would play an important role in the search for proof of alien visitors and the answers to the UFO phenomena that had been rising stead-ally over the years. He was first introduced to the world of UFOs in the same fashion many others where, and that was through the famous and infamous Roswell case. His interest grew from that news report to the point where he finally joined MUFON, the most famous UFO research organization. He became a very prominent member and attended many of their conferences and meetings and spoke freely of various UFO related topics. While he had been known to speak on the matter of UFO abduction he would not become directly involved with the topic until meeting Derrel Sims. Sims had been working with alien abductees under conditions he set. He was a hypnotherapist and at this point one of the nation's best. Sims aided the people he worked with in recalling memories of lost times and helping them fight the urges they seemed to have as a direct result of alien contact. It was through Sims that Leir learned of alien implants. Leir was quick to note that any foreign object within the body would create infection or imflamation and eventually be expelled by the body. Sims would contest this thought and Leir would seek more proof to support Sims. Sims told Leir about a woman who had injured her foot and had x-rays made to monitor the injury. What was revealed in the x-rays was far more than expected by any doctor. In one of the woman's toes was not one but two implanted objects. One of the objects was described as a melon seed shape while the other clearly resembled the letter T. No doctor would attempt to remove these implements and their origen was completely unknown by the woman. She had been reported as an alien abductee and this would set Sims and Leir on a quest for answers that would lead them to a startling revelation in the field. Leir checked in detail for an entry point for the objects. he managed to find no such point and stated that without an entry point these items could not have gotten into the body by normal means. Both men and the woman agreed the best action was to remove the objects. This would give the men a source to study and possibly determine where and how the objects made their way into the body of the woman. The surgery would be filmed by a still and movie camera that way any and all findings would stand up to scientific scrutiny often given in such cases. A serum made from the patient's own blood was created to store the objects in after their removal. Heavy anesthesia is used to numb the area and Sims serves to calm the woman during the procedure. As the first object which is the seed shaped implant is approached the woman's foot tenses up. This alarms the doctor as it should not have felt anything. The woman begins to scream and move in pain. The area were the doctor had reached is void of sensory receptors and with the amount of numbing agent their should have been no discomfort to speak of. Despite the amount of pain the woman seemed to exhibit the first object was removed safely. It;s appearance was one that the two men had not expected. The T shaped object would also have the same shocking feature. Both were encased in what appeared to be neural tissue. The woman's tissue to be exact. This explained the pain and discomfort. The cots had somehow attached them selves to the woman's nerve system. Not only had this explained the pain but it also answered as to why the object had not been expelled from the body. Leir noted that the membrane they were seeing around these strange objects is not common and does not happen by natural or unnatural means. Upon close examination the tissue proved to be superficial tissue. That is the surface nerve tissue that does not form inside the muscle tissue. What they were looking at may very well be a piece of bio engenering. Human technology could not have created what they held in their hands. The objects them selves were as impressive as the membrane they used to shield them. They seemed unbreakable and displayed magnetic properties. This led Leir to assume they drained energy from the body of their host to power whatever function they had. Leir also noted that they appeared to shrink in the air but returned to their natural size when placed back into the protective tissue coating. No metal known could have been able to accomplish that feat. Both men felt they did not possess the ability to evaluate these objects to the fullest extent and decided to send them off for further examination. They were packaged in the serum and sent to a research facility in New Mexico. The researchers who received the implants were denied any information about the origen of the objects. It was discovered that the objects contained traces of copper, sodium, chlorine, and contained a magnetic core. Leir was contacted and asked if the objects in the possession of the researchers was part of a meteorite. The objects seemed to be made of material common to meteors and the like. Leir told the researchers that what they had came from the toe of a woman who had claimed to have been abducted by aliens. The response was that it made sense as the item was in fact from space. Could this case have given us the evidence we needed? Some say yes, others say no, but regardless it is astounding none the less. The implants led many to assume aliens were not to blaim at all but that the government was using them to monitor people and the alien scenario had been instilled for the purpose of discrediting the witness. We still do not know with certainty how the seed and T were placed inside this woman but we do know they were in fact her at one time and we know their origen is as mysterious now as it was then.
