Buckingham Cemetery
Background and general information
Case #- 5
Case Title- Buckingham Cemetery
Location- Buckingham, KY
Case Status- Still investigating
What attracted DPRT to Buckingham was the story of the unnamed grave and the watchman it may have kept. This story was told several times to various members of the team when one day we finally decided to check the site out for ourselves. Buckingham is by far one of the nicest and most kept cemeteries in Eastern Ky. We had been there many times to pay respects and as part of our cemetery preservation work but investigating there was going to be a complete and amazing experience for all of us.
What makes Buckingham so odd is it is nearly hidden from view and once you reach it you can see for miles. We came in search of a watchman, but we left feeling as if we were the ones being watched.
Personal Experiences
- Sam Little and Sonya McGarey were regrouping with the team when they spotted what they thought was Jeremy and Elyse. But soon it was discovered that Elyse was with Derek and Jeremy had in fact been accompanied by someone not part of the team
-At the grave of a suicide Sam begab to feel constrictions in his chest and arms. He had to be taken off of the cemetery.
-a tape recorder left at a gravesite while the team went for dinner was found upon return with the battery busted open and the tape split in two
