| Set in the rolling hills of Wheelwright Kentucky, Branham Cemetery at first glance looks about the same as any vintage gravesite might look. Modern and hand crafted stones both share the soil. A chain link fence complete with swinging gate surrounds the peaceful burial plots, keeping unwanted things out, but what does this fence manage to keep in? That was the question we wanted answers to. Many a good man and woman have been laid to rest within that chain link fence, but it wasn't the "good" ones we came to see. Small towns have their secrets and Wheelwright is no exception to that rule. What happened at Branham's many years ago still echoes in the ears of those who would care to listen. We didn't come in search of a "good" man, not this time, this time we came for Bad John Hall. You see most cemeteries are not haunted because nothing happened there to create the needed atributes for a haunting, but Branham Cemetery would prove otherwise. Bad John is actually related to DPRT directer Sam Little. What ties this cemetery into John's story, besides the fact he and his wife America are buried there, is that on one faithful day a posse came to bring John in. This group of rough and tough men were led by Joe Cable. It seemed all hope was lost for John as he hid behind a building, gun drawn. With a quick leap foward one shot rang out. The sound no doubt shattered the silence of the wait, and what followed that roar was a thud. John's bullet had met resistance at the body of Joe Cable. Just feet away from this peaceful resting place Bad John Hall had protected himself at the cost of Joe Cable. |

| Personal Experiences | ||||||||||||||||||
| -Investigater Jeremy Hall was touched several times while walking the graveyard -a grey orb roughly the size of a dodgeball was seen in bushes where the old barn once stood -the sound of a child crying echoes out after one researcher commented "Did John and America have kids?" -multiple cold spots, but this can not be considered valid evidence as it is an outdoor location. -on several occasions the feeling of being watched would come over several team members and leave just as quick |
